Live Performances
Why not watch a live performance like a play or a dramatization as well to gain a further understanding of the era and everything relating to it?
History Books
Activities to do in the homeschool will include reading books about the selected era in music, going to the library and checking out other resources and gaining a really thorough understanding.

Food/Transport/Science
Why not blend the history of music studies with other subjects?
Better still why not try to learn about food from the era and try to cook some of the food?
